Resumo: Analisar como a temática ‘patrimônio documental’ aparece nos periódicos da Ciência da Informação é o objetivo desse estudo. Para identificar conteúdos na literatura cientifica é realizada a pesquisa bibliográfica visando regastar na Base de dados Referencial de Artigos de Periódicos em Ciência da Informação (BRAPCI) os itens documentais sobre a temática. O estudo focaliza três parâmetros: a) Levantar os artigos publicados sobre patrimônio documental em periódicos da Ciência da Informação; b) Verificar quais os periódicos mais representativos para a área arquivística; c) Descrever o perfil dos autores mais produtivos na análise do patrimônio documental de acordo com sua titulação e instituição de origem. Observa-se desde 1989 a base de dados indicação de 272 itens documentais, dos quais 169 (62,13% do total) se enquadraram nos parâmetros estabelecidos para efetivação deste estudo, isto é, os artigos científicos do período de 2010 a 2020. Assim a pesquisa sinaliza a três revistas que mais publicam sobre a temática pesquisada são: Ágora - Arquivologia Em Debate, com 21 artigos; o periódico ‘Em Questão’, com 13 itens; e a revista ‘Informação & Informação’ com respectivamente nove publicações.

Abstract: Analyzing how the theme "documentary heritage" appears in Information Science journals is the objective of this study. To identify contents in the scientific literature, bibliographic research is carried out in order to regain in the Referential Database of Articles of Journals in Information Science (BRAPCI) the documentary items on the theme. The study focuses on three parameters: i) To survey the published articles on documentary heritage in Information Science journals; ii) Check which journals are most representative for the archival area; iii) Describe the profile of the most productive authors in the analysis of documentary heritage according to their title and institution of origin. Since 1989, a database of 272 documentary items has been observed, of which 169 (62.13% of the total) fit the parameters established for carrying out this study, that is, the scientific articles from the period 2010 to 2020. Thus the research points to three magazines that publish the most on the researched theme: ‘Ágora - Arquivologia em Debate’, with 21 articles; the periodical ‘Em Questão’, with 13 items; and the ‘Informação & Informação’ magazine with nine publications respectively
