Resumo: As elsewhere, inventories are na important souce for the study of private libraries of physicians and lawyers from Rio de Janeiro, at the turn of the 19th to the 20th Century. Their wide-ranging contents witness their importance for the city cultural life. On the other hand, the care their owners bestowed them shows that this libraries had been converted for them into a kind of Garden of Eden.

Abstract: The 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals have global relevance, it is currently considered a kind of guide and/or plan of action for the entire international community, its main objective being the plural, broad and collective creation, of a more just, sustainable, and resilient world by the year 2030.Based on its premises, the elaboration of new national public policies aimed at books, reading and libraries, become instruments of paramount importance, as they can enable democratization of information, socialization of culture, expansion of the base with access to quality education, and, finally, the intellectual liberation of the individual. The networked public-school library, in turn, reinforces and expands the social role of the library as an entity that emancipates citizens, spreads culture, is an economic entrepreneur and defends the democratic rule of law. The objective of this research is to analyze the networks of public-school libraries in South America, relating them to the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goal 4, with the intention of establishing a model for measuring and developing structuring actions for the formulation of networks in Brazil effectively and assertively. Taking advantage of the experiences, on the subject of the analyzed countries (Chile and Argentina). This research has documentary characteristics, qualitative nature, exploratory/descriptive typology, and the method used is content analysis. We used the Systematic Literature Review for data collection, using the triangulation of sources as a technique for analysis.

Resumen: La Agenda 2030 y sus Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible tienen relevancia mundial, actualmente es considerada una especie de guía y/o plan de acción para toda la comunidad internacional, siendo su principal objetivo la plural, amplia y colectiva, de un mundo más justo, sostenible y resiliente para el año 2030. A partir de sus premisas, la elaboración de nuevas políticas públicas nacionales dirigidas al libro, la lectura y las bibliotecas, se convierten en instrumentos de suma importancia, ya que pueden posibilitar la democratización de la información, la socialización de la cultura, la ampliación de la base con acceso a una educación de calidad y, finalmente, la liberación intelectual del individuo. La biblioteca escolar pública en red, a su vez, refuerza y ​​amplía el papel social de la biblioteca como entidad emancipadora de los ciudadanos, difusora de la cultura, emprendedora económica y defensora del Estado democrático de derecho. El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar las redes de bibliotecas escolares públicas de América del Sur, relacionándolas con la Agenda 2030 y su Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible 4, con la intención de establecer un modelo de medición y desarrollo de acciones estructurantes para la formulación de redes en Brasil. de manera asertiva y eficaz, aprovechando las experiencias, en la materia, de los países analizados (Chile y Argentina). Esta investigación tiene características documentales, naturaleza cualitativa, tipología exploratoria/descriptiva y el método utilizado es el análisis de contenido. Se utilizó la Revisión Sistemática de Literatura para la recolección de datos, utilizando la triangulación de fuentes como técnica de análisis.
